Looks like Montgomery County has started the rebanding process also, these were all added to county FCC licenses mostly as of 11/12-15. I compiled a rundown for everyone:

851.0125 - WPRX629, WPSF784, WQDU634, WQED570
851.0375 - WQDU634, WQED570
851.2625 - WPRX629, WPSF784
851.3250 - WQDU634, WQED570
851.5125 - WPRX629, WPSF784, WQDU634, WQED570
851.5500 - WQDU634, WQED570
851.6375 - WPRX629, WPSF784
851.7750 - WQDU634, WQED570
851.8875 - WPRX629, WPSF784
852.0125 - WPRX629, WPSF784, WQDU634, WQED570
852.1375 - WQDU634, WQED570
852.2625 - WPRX629, WPSF784
852.3750 - WPRX629, WPSF784, WQED570
852.5125 - WPRX629, WPSF784, WQDU634, WQED570
852.6500 - WPRX629, WPSF784, WQED570
852.7625 - WQDU634
853.0125 - WPRX629, WPSF784, WQED570
853.4500 - WQDU634, WQED570
853.7625 - WPRX629, WPSF784

All frequencies are for the trunked 800 licenses, same FB2 and output power/maximum erp, the users total for the MO ends are the same amount. Nothing new or old has had narrowband emissions added yet. WPRX629 & WPSF784 were primarily 800 east and I-Tac's and the other 2 were mostly west and I-Tac's. The east also has 4 other licenses for east only frequencies although they were never touched, and if everything is covered on the other frequencies I assume might just fade away through the changes. Not knowing how this system will take shape as far as east vs west or whole system I created another 800 standard system in my 396D to try to listen and capture talkgroups as the system becomes active. What it sounds like some of you did for Philly although I would of never picked them up from where I live. My questions to the group are was this my best move vs just loading them as a bunch of conventional stuff ? and is it worthwhile to also try that with the new narrowbanded Chester 800 frequencies tro see how their system will take shape?

Nothing has come down the pipes to the end users that I am aware of. There was a blip in a local paper a few weeks ago that they are starting the bid process, but then decided to skip that and just go straight to Moto for a 50 mil plus upgrade, but thats all i heard about.. When they say my xts needs redone, then I guess I'll know the answer.

I don't understand the reference in this thread's caption to narrowbanding. All 800 mHz channels are narrowband.

I believe he was trying to say rebanding. All 800MHz frequencies are actually wideband 20kHz deviation and do not fall under the FCC's narrowband mandate.

Montgomery County is moving forward with rebanding as all police departments have already received a memo from the county. All police radios will be reprogrammed and others flashed to receive the new rebanded frequencies. The county will be handing out loaner portable radios to departments whos portables cannot be easily upgraded in the field. This is scheduled to begin January of 2013. Bluewing Enterprises has been hired to coordinate the process with Radio Maintenance Inc contracted to do all the programming. All of Montgomery's 800 ITAC's have been rebanded already with the old and new repeaters linked together.

And I am sure they will jump on the encryption bandwagon also.

If I did confuse anyone with narrowband/rebanding my apologies. The best way to try to monitor the new stuff and see what develops as it comes online is to set up a new system with the new frequencies but no talkgroups (which I obviously don't know yet) and see what happens?

I wonder how much if the testing will be heard since the county radio techs operate secrete squirrel encrypted

Lower Merion silent?

Is Lower Merion's radio system down or have they rebanded? I've not hear a peep for a day or two.

Montgomery County, PA Rebanding Trunking Frequencies

I see we have new frequencies, but I cannot see the order to enter them into my scanner's bank. Could you please put them in the order I need to enter them in?
Thank you.
