Montgomery County Trunking Question

Hello all:
I'm not a total newbie, but I haven't played around with my scanner in a long time. I have a BC895XLT (I love it) and have programmed in all the system frequencies as listed on this site for the Montgomery county trunked system. I even get the proper ID's showing up, the problem being instead of voice I get some garbled nonsense (sounds like data maybe, but it should be a voice channel). I'm pretty sure the 895 should be able to handle this type of system, so maybe some one has some ideas or has had the same problem. I would greatly appreciate any assistance.

what you are hearing is digital... the 895 is not a digital scanner... you need to upgrade to a digital capable scanner if you want to monitor this system
