Monticello PD

I live in Drew county and over the summer the Database was updated with a Monticello PD Ch 2. I've had it programmed since it was put in the database and I have yet to hear anything on it.. Is it a bad channel or encrypted or something?

They might be operating in simplex, or simply not using it frequently.

I have that channel programmed in as well, but I barely get Monticello PD's dispatch here in southeastern Lincoln County. The county channels are strong from Pine Bluff to Greenville, MS. If they use this second channel I havn't heard it.

It's simplex and rarely used.
