Subject: Reports of up to 20 vehicles involved in pile-up S/B I-25, south of Monument.
On April 11, 2008 at 11:40 AM the Colorado State Patrol was notified of a 20 car pileup on southbound I-25 that starts near mile marker 162 which is just south of Monument, CO.
We understand that the area is experiencing adverse weather conditions.
At this time we have no information from troopers on scene as to the exact number of vehicles or injuries if any.
The motoring public is asked to avoid the area if possibly. Long delays are expected.
We will update as more information becomes available.
