Not that it can't be done, all of Groom Lake is a restricted zone. There are employees that fly into Mercury and the test site,
But they have prior clearances and authorization, just like the shuttle busses and private vehicles.
There is really nothing special about Groom lake and 'area 51' But the DOE is going to be in a hissy fit. ( that is nuke stuff)
Very often there are fighter exercizes that extend all of the north Nellis range into Indian springs.
You go bebopping your ultralight the wrong time, you get painted as a 'bogy' then dodge the sparrows.
So trying to get frequencies huh, He would need an E-2 for that LOL.
