Mooresville FD/Southern Iredell FDs move to VIPER

"Iredell County is building a simulcast system on Viper. New sites are being built now. Cool Springs, Mooresville, and Olin sites are being built."

So, we have Fox Mountain, Barium Springs, and the current one in Mooresville. Does that mean they're building a second Mooresville site? I also couldn't remember if it was supposed to be six or seven total sites on the simulcast. Dan, I'm guessing you may know?

Yes, Johnson Dairy Rd at the Mooresville Waste Water Facility.

I just delivered racks for 3 of the sites today into the tower shelters. With the following rest of the racks being delivered sometime this week. So it won't be long until the full switchover!!

I think the State's portion of Viper has been built out.

I also believe that if the counties want to add to Viper they will have to foot the bill for construction costs and frequency coordination.

I know there was a possible new Viper Site to be added in the Gold Valley Community of Rutherford Co.
