While trying to map the TPS P25, I noticed two other systems in the 770 range.

770.20625 SysID 000-10 Site 010 WACN 148DE NAC A

and

770.31875 Site 1 064C WACN BEE00 Site NAC 641

They're starting to sprout like weeds now. :)

Thanks for the update I had keeping an eye on that band for a long time but didn't see any action so I sort of stopped watching. I was wondering how long it would take to become active, I will now keep an eye on it.

Either those are two different systems or you were getting a crap decode on the first one... WACNs don't match.

WACN BEE00 (BEE0x really) is a dead giveaway of a Motorola system. 148DE-000 with only NAC 00A? Not sure it's legit. Technically it could be, but give it another shot before you commit on it.

770mhz control channels

148de is the new Durham region system.
There are other sites from that system that are full strength in the Oshawa Whitby area
Have heard lots of testing mostly encrypted in both p25 phase 1 and phase 2 modes. I don't have a radio that will do phase 2 yet so I have no idea if those signals are end. Will have to run unitrunker
I am betting that the 64c system is York region. Does not come in that well here.

I've put up the York Region (Project 25) for downloading.

Channel access lists as P2.

I have not logged any talkgroups for either York or Durham P25 as of yet.

The only Radio ID I found logged in on York was 5555555 with three hits between 7:25 to 7:30 pm yesterday.
No Users or Groups on Durham.

Keep in mind that your scanner will work fine on any Phase I talkgroups. Many systems deployed in the GTA support Phase II talkgroups but at this time only Metrolinx actually uses them.

I don't think GTA will be using any Phase 2 talk groups (TDMA) for a wile the radio cost to much they probably have the p2 Channel access for future use so win they decide to use TDMA

Um, on a big contract like a city would undertake, the cost difference between a phase 1 or phase 2 radio (if there even was a difference) would be negligible.

if I’m correct they would have to use the APX series modes that are like 2000.00 give and take because of city deal would probley ran them 1000,00 more per radio that adds up quick

so the tg's on a phase 2 system still wont show up on a scanner that can only handle phase 1? I know I couldn't listen to them, but I figured I still could see the tg numbers.
