Just picked up the new UBC3300.
The UBC3300 is based on the BC250 not the BC296.
UPDATE: after playing with the 3300 it is more a combined bc250/296.
There are a few differences with the BC250D:
You can select 3 different 'bandplans'. You can press and hold 1,2 or 3 to select a plan. This is done because in Europe different countries have different bandplans.
There is only 1 service search range: airband. It does support the new 8.33 khz Airband step.
All apco 25 functions work, it accepts a digital card.
The computer cable is not included and is an option.
