just picked a tx from bowie county, tx for a major mva...on my local fd freq the 2nd time in a week

100+ mi from here....

apparntly every time i hear ems/fire from this county....its either cold, rainy, or dark

is that the norm? since i know nothing about this subject

yes, especially if there is a front comming through. The leading edge is a great place to hear skip. Enjoy it.
