I live in southern TN 50 miles north of Decatur, I am receiving the Morgan County SD on 155.07. My question is are they using the 800MHz EDACS system yet?

Yes, they are using it. But I don't think you'll pick it up 50 miles away. I'm only about 10 miles from Decatur and the signal is weak. The frequencies for the main Decatur site are:

Are those listed in the proper LCN order? I'd like to input these into my scanner and see if I pick up from Huntsville

They should be. I have them programmed in my scanner in that order and it works fine. MorganAL also posted the frequencies for all three towers in my thread titled "Unidentified Trunking System".

Here are the correct freqs for the Morgan Co system:

Decatur Main (Flint)(Located at the 911 Center next to Regional Hospital)

Decatur North (Located at Decatur City Hall)

City Hall is off the air right now. Still waiting on the tower at City Hall to be replaced.

Yeah. Pretty much the same goes for me on the Huntsville Public Safety system as well. 800 Mhz doesn't travel too far. You may pick it up better if you had an amp or a specifically tuned 800 Mhz antenna though, both of which I don't have.

Only a few units have it in their cars and they only use it for occasional BS. Most of their traffic is on 155.070 or Southern Linc.

I do have an 800 Mhz yagi in the attic but I got it mounted aimed at Monte Sano Mountain to get HPS. Maybe I'll try turning it one day. I am able to pick up the Decatur PD on 460.325 and 460.450 very well on scantenna.
