Do you know the 700 talkgroup they were simulcasting the paging on?
On the TRS Site 6, I have heard no TG paging whatsoever. I do see paging on Site 05 as it was prior.

The reference to simulcast to paging channel only. UHF. That is carried on most tower/sites.

Does anybody have an updated UID list for the new radios?
You'll just have to listen and log. They have a numbering system to distinguish between agency, use (Police vs Fire vs EMS), portable vs mobile, etc.

Does anyone know when they are switching over 700 full time?
Nope. Still some issues being addressed.

Fire Response 5 will be switching over to the 700 system sometime this week.

Also, in the DB for the 700 system I do not see a digital paging TG like the 400 system has. I can’t imagine they won’t have one.

700 talkgroups are in the DB. And as far as paging, how about we get all 8 Fire TGs up and running before we worry about paging since the "primary" paging is actually over conventional UHF.

I am wondering if they are expediting the switchover of these TGs due to the location and bad coverage down there on the 400 system, or are we going to see a staggered rollout over the next couple of weeks of each channel switching over.

So far the activity on 700 has been limited to the agencies where the UHF system is weak, specifically the southeast area of the county. I would be surprised to see any further migration from UHF to 700 before the foliage is full and they can do proper grid testing.

Site 05 is on the air, however it does not show as a peer on Site 6.

I suspect Site 05 days are now numbered.
