Yes and no. Not on the air per se. They will just identify as "Morris Township Engine-1" but they use the same municipal IDs as the PDs in the CAD I believe so they would be "F22-ENG-1"

As stated above, Morris county doesn’t verbally use ORI’s/station id’s for transmissions for fire/EMS. It’s more for dispatchers. I think Morris is one of the few places that still uses “plain language” when referring to units/departments over the radio (besides pd). The only time you might hear fire using ORI’s is when they might be requesting something from patrol. That’s only if that person is a whacker lmao.

However, every department and every station has station id’s which is what the comm center physically uses to dispatch. The units aren’t listed “Morristown Engine 1” or “Morristown FD.” It’s “F24E1” or “2499”
