Morris Twp (22 cars) and Morristown (24 cars) are on MUN PD 4 AND MUN PD 5 respectively.

It doesn't sound like testing.

Great thanks. I think it's safe to add Mo'town to PD 5 and Morris Twp to PD 4. I heard them on their respective TG's this morning.

Morristown FD, Morristown EMS, Morris Twp FD, Morris Minute Men EMS (Morris Twp part) did go live just after 10:00 this AM, MFD and MAS have already run calls. Also heard MAS was to be using EMS 3??? Do we have a confirmation on the 34640 ID? Would that mean that there is a EMS 2? And if so - would it be 34608? Does anyone have the talkgroup lineup for EMS Groups?

Any word on Morristown PD, Morris Twp PD - have not heard anything on their TG as of yet.

EMS 2 - 34608 confirmed
EMS 3 - 34640 confirmed

I also heard Morristown EMS Captain on EMS 3 this morning, Radio ID 52358. Morristown and Morris Twp Fire is confirmed on FIRE RESP 4...I posted the talkgroup a few posts above. Morristown Airport Rescue is still using MIOP-2 to call County per the Black Meadows Mutual Aid Agreement.

Morristown PD is on MUN PD 5. Morris Twp is on MUN PD 4.

I was also able to get the "majority" of the Radio ID's for Morristown Fire and Morris Twp Fire during their testing if anyone is using the radio ID feature on their scanners. I couldn't grab all as I was driving.

Morristown EMS AND Minutemen EMS (covering Morris Twp and Morris Plains) is using EMS 3 (34640) full-time. Those are the only two agencies I caught on the talkgroup.

Everyone else is still using EMS 1, including ALS units responding to the aforesaid agencies.

Nothing heard on EMS 2.

I know RocketNJ posted EMS is remaining status quo, but I'm hearing different...for now.

That's funny W2SJW, I was thinking the same thing.

I was wondering why they didn't combine Morristown PD with Morris Twp and Morris Plains since they are all so close. Now I know why...never realized how busy they were. I haven't heard anyone complain of denials/the dreaded busy tone...yet.

Pretty much the EMS for all towns on PD4 & 5 are on EMS 3. Some of the units may still be lingering on EMS1 until they get reprogrammed.

No other moves with other EMS happening yet.

Wasn't too busy today. Sounded like only 3 officers we're taking all the calls. I think having to say "24-124 etc." is confusing the dispatchers.

If they're going to be on their own TG, couldn't they skip saying "24", and just go with the badge number.

It used to be Area 1, Area 2, Area 3, Traffic, Post 1,Post 2, Post 3.

Yes, more towns coming. Dover is scheduled for July as others have stated. Other towns have interest but still in negotiations.
