Anyone have any luck programming the county's Motorola Type II SmartZone into the Uniden BCD396T yet? If you have, and can actually HEAR them, let me know what your secret is.

works fine. Did you set it up as Type II and use the custom table listed in the RR database? The channels should be set for NFM mode.

Where are you located? They have 4 sub-systems to cover the county. Program the sub-system to cover your area.

Don't forget it requires two table entries.

First is
Base 471.000
Spacing 12.5 kHz
Offset 380

Second is Base 476.000
Spacing 12.5 kHz
Offset 520

If you use the ARC396 software, you can PM me to arrange to send me a copy of your programming file and I'll check it for you.

Yes, I do have all that set up. I'm showing the offset for the second base as 520?

Yes, 520 is correct. I edited my previous response.

Can you read the scanner with Arc396 and save it? PM me for my email address and you can send me the archive. I'll check it out.
