• To anyone looking to acquire commercial radio programming software:

Please do not make requests for copies of radio programming software which is sold (or was sold) by the manufacturer for any monetary value. All requests will be deleted and a forum infraction issued. Making a request such as this is attempting to engage in software piracy and this forum cannot be involved or associated with this activity. The same goes for any private transaction via Private Message. Even if you attempt to engage in this activity in PM's we will still enforce the forum rules. Your PM's are not private and the administration has the right to read them if there's a hint to criminal activity.

If you are having trouble legally obtaining software please state so. We do not want any hurt feelings when your vague post is mistaken for a free request. It is YOUR responsibility to properly word your request.

To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.

The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.

For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

This is a large and very visible forum. We cannot jeopardize the ability to provide the RadioReference services by allowing this activity to occur. Please respect this.

didn't know if anyone had ever seen / used one of these before ... i've built a similar product out of a couple cdm 750's and some rts telex intercom products. its not near as clean as this what with external power supplies, fans etc but works great for its purpose.

just wondering if anyone had any experience with the product, seen it in use, etc. riedel is a well respected company with many cutting edge intercom solutions they have been used at the Olympics for a number of year as well as being the f1 supplier but not as big a presence here in the us ...

anyway i've got some people looking at this as a possible solution for their needs and wanted some input/ feedback the price isn't terrible considering what you get i think around 2300 us.

which after buying 2 radios, ps, intercom interface etc, you come close to that.

ok thanks in advance!

i'm not necessarily looking for the repater interface i can make 2 radios be a repeater for the cost of the radios and a few misc parts laying around ...

not the problem or the question ... if you read this takes 2 wire party line intercom ... clear com/rts, etc. what most production trucks, theaters, concerts etc use and interfaces it to radio via a plug n play setup ... if you have that capability then by all means give me your info i'd love it ... i agree its pricey for the radios etc, but for the 2/4 wire hybrid which you must have to accomplish this i don't see a more complete box on the market ...

as i said i've already made this exact thing ... with two cdm 750's but for the cost of 2 750's - 1000 bucksish and a 2 to 4 wire hybrid 800 ish you still need power supply, fans, rack mount hardware, etc

if you have something different better by all means i'd love to see something else pro made no home brew radios and wires running everywhere because this is for a professional plug n play client they supply freq. we program and plug in party line intercom done ...

looking for feedback opinions about the product and if there are similar out there what are they and cost ?!?
