Moto Trunker w/ Encrypted Talkgroups

Hello everyone,
I am working on setting up Trunker and I noticed that I have been receiving talkgroups that have been encrypted and Trunker is egnoring them. What settings do I have to change to make the encrypted talkgroups stand out and be noticed.

I'll bet he has digital and encrypted confused.

There is a enviornment variable that you must set for Trunker not to ignore digital groups. The following line nees to be in your trunker config file:

TRACKDIGITAL=1

The TRS that I am tracking is the Belmont County Ohio TRS SYS ID:8401. Now they are in the process of encrypting some of their talkgroups and adding some new talkgroups. I had Trunker up and running on the system. On my scanner I watched 3 different talkgroups appear that were not decoded by my BC785D w/card scanner. When I checked Trunker none of the talkgroups appeared in the log.

What log? Trunker doesn't log communications that I know of. It logs, a lot of things, but transmissions isn't one of them (although it does record last "hit"). You have to be watching the screen to see that. If you have a way of logging the actual transmissions, let me know cause I really have a real need for it.

Lou, Iam talking about the Detail Log in the middle of the Trunker screen. I just don't understand why I am not seeing some of the talkgroups that I see on the scanner appear the Trunker screen.

The "Detail" screen, depending on the options you choose, will show Affiliations/Unaffailiations, Diagnositic messages, Patch builds/maint/breakdowns, Individual Calls/Telephone Interconnects, Emergency Button activiations, and Neighbor Cell status. Nowhere in that list do you find anything to do with communications on a TG. The closest that comes is Affiliations at which time the radio switches to the TG it affiliates. If the radio does that when you are not running Trunker (or on another cell), you don't see it. For example, I have been running Trunker just about 24/7 on the local sites of the SD State TRS. I have yet to see any dispatch radio affiliate, becuase they were on and going way before I ever got here.
