I updated the Unidentified Wiki with my current KC ZOO and LifeFlight Eagle list. In regards to the zoo it sounds as if there are groups for building, exhibits and janitorial for Africa side. The other zones seem to be grouped together for the same type of channel line up. Needs more monitoring for accurate channel names.

No. They're not encrypted. They also have 3 or 4 other talkgroups on the system that are strictly used for alerting crews at the Chillicothe, Odessa, and Harrisonville bases. Once the aircraft are up, they usually switch to the 31842 MARRS talkgroup or a satellite communications system. I'll try to get in touch with one of my contacts there to see what I can find out.
Over on MoKanscan.net they have a pretty cool LifeFlight wiki with pictures of the birds.

Just for info 6101701 is not KC streetcar its Express Tow, Platte City, Unidens have a bug with DMR where it will play the wrong audio on a talkgroup randomly.

6109101 KCSC 1
6109102 KCSC 2
6109103 KCSC 3

So far in all of the talkgroups I have identified they are never split up and why would they be.

Just got back from two trips to Kansas City, and spent the last 2 days going through audio recorded. 37 newly identified talkgroups submitted, 11 talkgroups updated. All have been submitted to RRDB and will be live as soon as the DB Admins get them processed.

Of course I forgot to look at this thread, and missed submitting @wbigcount's report of the Streetcar and Express Tow. I'll go back and re-listen to that talkgroup (I skipped it because it was considered identified, but I have hundreds of recordings) to confirm, and will submit a followup.

I'll update the Wiki page in the coming days.

Unidentified Talkgroups Wiki has been updated. A couple of notes:

6115101 thru 6115106 will be in the RRDB as "Concrete Delivery" and "Rock Hauling" I suspect it is a combination of Fordyce, Century or Ash Grove Cement (they're all owned by the same parent) and some research could probably confirm that.

6119601 will be showing in the RRDB as "animal control" I suspect its the Humane Society, but could also be the SPCA. Again, some research could probably confirm.

I have no travels back to Kansas City planned for a while, so that's it as far as updates from me for now.

Good sleuthing @wbigcount - once you've got them confirmed, you should submit those to the database. My updates are still pending (one admin accepted 3 of my updates from around the KC Metro, and they're all still pending, anywhere from 5-10 days, while most of the others were done by other admins in 24-48 hours).

Looks like most of my updates (with the exception of the Kansas City Zoo) are now live. The admins did a little reorganization work from what I submitted, but its all there.

Looks great! As far as Life Flight goes, are those talkgroups dispatch for each helicopter? I'm assuming the radios affiliate with each site like MOSWIN, but can be wrong. I don't really know how these DMR trunked systems really work.

Not sure on LifeFlight, but yes, the radios will auto-affiliate with whichever site has the strongest signal. That is part of the reason that you'll see the DSDPlus Network Repeater Map in the Wiki, that is an administrator pushed OTA update to all the frequencies and LCN's (usually when they add a new site)

Of course, those can't be added to the database just based upon a network repeater map and will require somebody to confirm they are actually online.

Thanks for submitting that!
