Motorala Type II How do I enter Hex/Dec ?

New member ....Have a Pro-2055. Figured out how to enter the frequencies, but want to enter the following:

Dec 7344 Hex 1cb
- and -
Dec 12912 Hex 327

For our local fire station here......

What does this mean ? HELP - How do I get these transmissions ?

I cant help with scanner programing sorry. But as a scanner user do not even worry about HEX (hexadecimal). You want to worry about DEC
(decimal) DEC is the converted hexadecimal data for "Uniden" applications or other scanners that support trunking. Once you have the control channel(s) programed in under MOT mode I believe it would be add the talk groups your interested in. You may be able to find the manual online.

I am "NEW NEW NEW" with programming - bought it for my son who listens to his local Fire Station that we know......so I really need help in just getting this one thing in for him!

After they dispatch a call, they go to TAC 2 - this is what we want to here .....

It would be a big help to actually know what system it is. Either post the link to it's page in the database or give us the State, County and locality.
