hello , this is my first time here, and I have a question for you guys, I buy on ebay, a motorola gp68 UHF that use 430 Mhz to 470 Mhz, I like to know if in this radio can i scanner VHF channels the purpose of that is use for fligth show that use 200 MHZ frecuencies, any idea, or better buy a good scanner , sugestions of a good scanner to buy, or motorolagp68 make sense to kkep that one?

No. It will ONLY operate fropm 430-470 MHz.

The GP68 regardless of model will not listen to mil-air. It is an FM only radio that covers either 136-174 or 403-470Mhz. As for which scanner, as long as it covers 225-400 in the AM mode, you should be golden for listening to airshow comms.

I just decide go for a VHF radio scanner most of the scanners are between 150, and 220 mhz , that is what i am looking for,
