I recently purchased several Motorola CM-300D (programmed in analog mode) mobiles to add to our fleet. We already have a number of CM-300 radios purchased over the past several years. Our crews HATE the CM-300D radios - they complain that the audio is not constant, that it "blares", that the transmit does not sounds as "good" as the old radios....
That said, I can't seem to recreate the problem when I'm using one of the radios. Our radio service company has checked the programming, checked them with a service monitor and verified power out and receive.... Everything is functioning as it should be.
Does anyone have any ideas? I have 3 very expensive paperweights sitting on my desk that our crews refuse to use.
