To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.

The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.

For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

I have two Motorola CM200's and trying to setup a repeater between both.
I have: https://www.amazon.com/Generic-gsd-...78021378&sr=8-1&keywords=pm400+repeater+cable

Can anyone please help me to know what to set within the program to get these to work? I tried setting pin 8 to PL/CSQ Talkgroup Detect with low and debounce but I do not see a Pin 2 or Pin 11. only pin3,4,6,8,9,12,14. I have the Accessory Package set to Default. Do I need to change this? I appreciate any and all help as I am new to this. Thanks

Edit: I am now able to get it to work but no audio is being carried.

I should note, this will make the radios CROSSBAND. I apologize for leaving that out. Just program one of the radios pin 8 for the one you want to transmit.

Currently I have pin 8 programmed to PL/CSQ Talkgroup Detect on both radios. I need to clear it from the Receive radio?
Are there any other changes i need to make?
Do I need to add any wires or make any changes to the interface cable since I am unable to program pins 2 and 11?
It is keying up properly and such its just not carrying the audio across from the Receive radio to the Transmit radio.
Thanks N1GTL

Both radios are UHF so I'm not trying to crossband, would I just set 1 radio to pin 8 for that?
