Ever try to read your radio display with sunglasses on? Why would you do that? Well, you could be driving, or working outside security or manufacturing. Well, it turns out the CP100d with Display has some incompatibility with polaroid sunglasses. Strange patterns show up that block the text within the display. I tried my best to show the impact on the enclosed JPEG. Notice the black clouds to the right and left, and a black horizonal black wavy line. With sun glasses on, compared to without sun glasses. And to be fair, my Lexus has similar problems when looking at some of its displays, such as the FM RADIO DISPLAY. This could just be a defective display, or maybe all Motorola displays have this problem? But it needs to be fixed right away because in an emergency situation I need to be able to quickly determine what channel I am on. Thoughts? Wouldn't you think Motorola would ever test their radios with sunglasses on?
