FBI — Suburban Chicago Woman Sentenced to Four Years in Prison for Stealing Motorola Trade Secrets Before Boarding Plane to China.

Just posting what was reported, and I do not know how accurate the story is, nor the circumstances behind the story.



Well, speaking from someone whom is "Prior Service", can I ask..."What the heck?"

A foreign national ( now naturalized, but that is not the point ) selling American industrial secrets to her home country. "Golly gee. You are from China. Why sure, step in here and you can see our most valuable secrets."

Now. I am not prejudiced, bigoted, nor am I a sexist or a racist. I do not intentionally look down or belittle anyone. BUT ME, being prior service, I ask " What the heck."

Would not Motorola not require a U.S Government security clearance, before being vetted to work with company sensitive, classified, or even "Secret" information? Would she not require a background investigation by Motorola, and quite possibly the FBI, with a background check,questioning and investigation periodically.

Hmmmmm?
