well i bought this radio and when i got it i turned it on and the green light stays on the hole time..i had a gp300 which is all most like it but i didn't program it Motorola did for me but there 60miles away.so i bought a programmer and went a bought the rss software for the gtx. have a 200mhz mmx with 230mb ram boot up disc got the rss software to run and when i read the radio the light on the back of the battery is flashing then it comes up withe error 5 code or it says it needs to be powered up to program and yes i have the 9v plug in to programed..but i just can get anything to read off this radio..i have read all over the internet no help..i am going to take some videos hoping it might help..thanks
