Motorola HMN 3000B-9637 Desk mic, want to convert it to a PC mic

Hello all, I acquired a Motorola HMN3000B-9637 desk mic from my local FD that has had it's Jx connector cut off, showing just wires, how would I convert the x amount of wires to allow the mic to work with a Windows PC? I thought it'd be a fun project but I need a little help on a wiring diagram and how that would interface with a 3.5mm mic jack on the back of a Windows PC.
Any help would be appreciated.

Easiest way would be to gut it and take an existing PC mic and install it inside the housing.

Many of the Motorola mics require a bias voltage to work. You won't get that off your PC mic connection.

aww... I wanted to use the moto mic because moto mics are awesome.. and they have good audio quality.. and I may just gut it, or keep it whole..

Yeah, I understand.
It could certainly be done, but it'd take some work. I'd have to dig into it, but I think it's 8vdc bias voltage on the Motorola mics. You'd have to feed a clean 8v supply into the mic.

Not impossible, but not easy, either.

No NOT 8 volts directly. 6 to 9 volts thru a 560 ohm resistor.

And YES PC does supply a 'bias' voltage thru a resistor to the Mic hi.

So how would I wire up a 3.5 mm mic jack to what wires? I would also like to use PTT function for applications like Zello.
