Anyone know the frequencies this 2-way radio runs on? The manual advises "the frequencies are inside of the battery cover". If anyone has or knows the frequencies this radio is on that would be a big help. Thanks in advance.

Since the HT50 was one of Motorola's first systhesized radios and is
programmable, there is no way of knowing what freq the radio is
without either putting in on a freq counter or reading the radio.

The most common operating split is 150.8-162.0, If the label is missing from under the battery, then you will have to read it with RSS to be able to properly determine what can be programmed into it.

Usually with *most* programmable /\/\ radios you can't tell. The only way to approx. the bandsplit would be to read the serial number. (And even then with out a proper model breakdown you wouldn't be able to find out...RSS would be the only way at that point.)

But I would assume if the radio is VHF its between 132 - 174 mhz. UHF it could be 403 - 512mhz.

... err, wow I should have read skip's post more thorughly, he said basically the same thing ...
