Motorola Introduces Multi-Band Radios

Motorola has used this year's APCO conference in Kansas City (Mo.) to introduce their first multi-band radio product, the APX 7000, which also includes a new form factor, text messages, dual speakers and audio, two information screens, and a unique double-sided design. The radio can operate on 700 MHz, 800 MHz and VHF bands, tying together law enforcement agencies on new systems, and fire departments on older systems. The company has posted a ton of information about the new radios on its Web site, including text and videos. Check their latest offering here:
