Here in ILL we have had a PD reband using this new system , there is alot of info on this site about it if you search...On my Uniden models i needed 3 BPlans which MR.Opitz Uniden rep helped with...You have to use in the rebanding steps polarity "-" i dont see that on the RS/GRE products....Not sure if these bandplans that work on theUniden products will work on my RS/GRE??...

Uniden's bandplan info probably wouldn't work on the GRE/RS scanners.

However, presuming it's this system and presuming they're now using the freqs listed in "Site 101", you should certainly be able to enter a custom trunking table to handle that system on a PSR-500-family scanner...

Starting with the "Rebanded" bandplan (since that system/site has some "rebanded frequencies" listed), you'd insert a few entries before all others. For any frequency between 851.012500MHz and 865.987500MHz which ends in "500Hz", you'd insert a table entry of the form:
Base: the voice frequency
Step: 25.000kHz
Offset: 759 - [(voice frequency - 851.0125MHz) / 25.000kHz]
Lo Chan: same as Offset
Hi Chan: same as Offset

For example, looking at that system, I see 854.162500 MHz. That's within the range above, so we'd insert a table entry:
Base: 854.162500 MHz
Step: 25.000 kHz
Offset: 633
Lo Chan: 633
Hi Chan: 633

From my above post:
Offset: 759 - [(voice frequency - 851.0125MHz) / 25.000kHz]

Offset = 759 - [(854.162500MHz - 851.0125MHz) / 25.000kHz]
Offset = 759 - [3.15MHz / 25.000kHz]
Offset = 759 - 126
Offset = 633

Based on Motorola's info about "Shuffle" that I've seen, those values should work. You do have the TSYS set to use "custom tables", right?

If it's still not working, it might be good to capture a "CCDump" log from the scanner while parked on one of the TGRPs in that system.

YES, went thru my programming again and again, see the CC at 99%, set at "custom", there was one freqy you did not list=851.8250 which is a voice channel only??....Ron...PS: The system works perfect on Uniden scanners...

How are you programming the scanner (i.e. software or directly from the scanner's keypad)? If from software, could you copy/paste your "Custom Tables" info to a post here?

I do not have the Win500, i program the GRE500 by hand...Scroll down to the "Table menu, change to "Custom"-save, then programmed all your rebanding info saving each entry all 15....

Did you program the tables in exactly the order I listed above?

(You could download the free trial version of Win500 from my web site, download the current programming from the scanner, then copy and paste from Win500's "Trunking Tables" dialog. That would really help me determine exactly what you have programmed into your PSR-500.)

I have just gone thru the complete list i programmed from your post, i actually printed it out and this is my third time checking it ...Its the same 1-15 to perfection that you listed...Im not a computer literate person and would need help to do what you want from a family member...I have ver 1.6 in my GRE500, i did not do the last downloads from GRE because i need help...However, i am scanner literate and doing programming by hand is very simple for me...As mentioned my city here "Joliet" ILL rebanded and the rebanding tables first printed that are the last 6 on your list work perfect....I have only programmed in the Grundy system the 5 freqys you see on the Uniden posts=4 CC's and one voice CH=851.825.....Thats all i see used on the Uniden scanner....Ron

This has me concerned / confused.

You must program the PSR-500 with exactly what I posted above, in exactly that order. That is, my listed
Code:
712       712       712      852.187500     25.000
must be the first table entry in the scanner ("Table 01"), followed by the other 14 entries.

Is that what you have?

It would be helpful if you would post here the "Table 01" through "Table 16" entries, in ascending "Table nn" order, that you have programmed into your scanner.

My wife is a school teacher, we had your list 1-15 (not 16) and we went thru the T Tables-Custom, tables 1-15 and she verified each post T-TABLE1 =loch-712 Hich-712 offs-712 Base- 852.1875 Step-25.000, all the way to T-TABLE15-LoCh-961 HiCh-1022 Offs-0 Base-843.40000...The others are perfect...Thank You for your patience....There listed as you printed them, 1-15.....

Thanks for the confirmation.

At this point, I'm going to need some kind of CCDump log from the scanner to see what it thinks it's doing. With that, I should be able to determine the channel -> frequency mapping.

Don, Ron,
I'm trying to get the CC info.
Trunk88 was working properly on this system but now that it's shuffled, the data doesn't seem to be correct.
I have to check the system parameters I entered in the software to see if I made a mistake.

That said, will data from a 996t be OK?
I don't know of an application that will get the info from My 2096.
Or, will I need to make a run to Ron's and get it from His 500?

(If only I had read thread this yesterday when I was three blocks from His home!)

Thanks, Phil

The best (for my purposes, at least) way to get the CC info would be to capture it from a PSR-500 family scanner via a terminal program (e.g. Windows Hyperterm or Win500):
1. Scanner's PROG FUNC GLOB "CCDump" item set to "Yes"
2. Scanner parked on a TGRP object within the TSYS
3. One or more call grant/update messages are received, so that the scanner dumps messages of the form:
M36:T0064:3F1 1 0070:LE:TG-00112 S-0 Ch-1009 VC- 868.625000
or:
M36:T0064:279 1 0010:T2CG:TG-00016 S-0 Ch-0633 VC- 866.837500

However, any dump of raw control channel info that shows "channel number" (the value received on the CC, not interpreted in any way by any software) should work.
