HI all,

Did they make a spectra model that had the dials on the front for "mode" and "Volume" that had a remote head? I know I have seen it as a dash mount but never remote mount. If so, what is the head type?

I am trying to find one.

Yes, the A4(analog) or W4(astro) control head with knobs can be found in remote mounted style.

The older Spectras have a diferent remote cable than the newer Spectras, and the Astro Family radios.

You can make a remote mount radio out of a one piece radio and the correct parts pretty easy.

I will see if I can find some directions for you or even a link to Batlabs.com about this conversion. I will try to get that later today.
