Nice I believe that's the one built around a MT500 chassis, but I think he asking way too much. $30-40 should be the right range for a radio that's going to be a display since it's not NB compliant and getting crystals is not going to be easy. I've seen MX-s versions for less than that recently.

I was issued a PT500 with two channels back in the middle 70's when I was with the local volunteer ambulance / rescue squad. I had my choice a MT or PT, took the Porta Talkie. Loved it.

Actually the MX series was then the MT500 which was the next level down comparable to the Pro series now, then you had the Handie Talkie MH series. This is all before the Radius series came out in the 80's.
