Does anyone think that there will be scanner technology in the next 3 years to monitor TRBO systems that use encrypted signals available today for small business etc (Color coding and TDMA Encyrption)?

A MotoTrbo scanner in the next 3 years; I doubt it (just my guess)

Color coding is not encryption,

TDMA is not encryption.

MotoTrbo does have an encryption option.

Scanner for an encrypted system; Darn near never,

Look at iDEN. No scanner after 16 years.

I agree, I dont think there will be any scanner to monitor it
Best option is probably a Motorola radio (if it can be programmed properly)
