Motorola Type II SmartZone

How does one program Motorola Type II SmartZone in a Uniden scanner? i have a BCD396T. I am trying to program State of New Jersey Troop A South. any help would be nice.

Turn on the scanner and press the menu (the lowerof the side) buttons.

Select the 'Program System'

Select the 'new system'

Select the "MOT" option (use the control knob to reach this setting).

Select '800 mhz standard'

The scanner will process for a little bit and then the system number (assigned by the scanner) will appear with additional options.

Edit the name if you desire.

Select the 'system options' and set a quick key and turn on the 'set c-ch only' to "on" (this saves entering all the system frequencies. You only need to enter the known control channels)

Press the 'menu' button to return up one level and scroll down to the 'enter frequencies'

Or buy some software and let will let you program the scanner through your computer. Well worth the investment.

I'm trying to program in this system at the link below. Do I still use the 800mhz version as you stated above?
