For my Pro 106, Lee County Public Safety (Motorola) scans and stops on a talkgroup ID but there's no sound. I'm seeing a steady 4 or 5 bars.

i am just out of range to consistently hear them.
the first 2 are not what you want. 3 says fire as do the last 2

How are you programming your scanner? It sounds like it is probably a rebanding issue.

The Lee Co Motorola Type II system requires a rebanding table. Are you using programming software?

I used the programming software, but it's been awhile (probably summer of 2018). I'll try to re-program. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for all the responses. I'll have to read up on rebanding. However, I didn't bring my cable to FL, and also now have only MAC's. I'll have to re-program when I return to MD.

Rebanding can be done by hand.

1. Select your TSYS, which can be done by selecting MAN and using the arrows to get to a TGRP for the TSYS and pressing F2 (TSYS).
2. PGM, F2 (EDIT), F2 (CURR).
3. Arrow down to T Tables, change this to Custom.
4. Program the tables as follow
   Table 01
   Lo Chan: 440
   Hi Chan: 559
   Offset: 440
   Base: 851.02500
   Step: 25.000
   
   Table 02
   Lo Chan: 0
   Hi Chan: 719
   Offset: 0
   Base: 851.01250
   Step: 25.000
5. Save the settings.

ARC500 and WIN500 software gives you a choice of using a rebanded 800 MHz table. I am not familiar with PSREdit500.

I would imagine that it does - and if you have a subscription, and the database entry is marked for rebanding, most all of the software will apply the custom tables automatically....Mike

I believe it's WIN500, but not in front of me to confirm. I just got it working by rebanding manually thanks to Spitfire8520.
