I work at a chemical plant and use the 7550e with a coiled mic. I'm trying out a set of Aftershokz Trekz Air headset and love it with my phone. When I try to pair it with my radio it connects but as data. As in the icon looks like an old blackberry and not the headset. So its not working. I do see my firmware hasn't been updated since 2016.my local Motorola rep wasn't much help and I'm working with the developer of the headset but figured I would ask in here also. I can pair cheap Bluetooth headsets to this radio all day. So I'm leaning towards maybe the Bluetooth technology in the headset is newer hence the radio doesn't see it as a headset? Any ideas? I am even willing to try one of those aftermarket adapters that mount on the aide of the radio if that's what it takes.
