I am trying to set up channels to monitor Georgia State Police, Troup D, in the Newnan, Lagrange area. According to radio reference the communication center is in Newnan. Each post within that troup has a different frequency. I have all frequencies programmed in but sometimes a car will call a station and it shows up under another post name. Example: A Car may call Newnan and comes across on Lagrange frequency. I know they are not on a trunking system but what about simulcast? How does that work?
