Heard 158.805 MOTOTRBO faintly from Urbana. Not sure who the user is. Savoy PW used to use this freq with a 127.3 PL. Only licenses near here are in Tilton near Danville and Brocton Fire Department in Edgar County.

I hear the same, I was assuming it was something from Indiana but I can't ID based on what I find online. I had that freq programmed for Lovington Fire Dept (Moultrie County) but never heard them use it. I deleted the freq from the scanner because of the data noise.

I believe what we're hearing is the Village of Tilton. They have a license for 158.805 and this video shows a village snow removal employee using what appears to be a TRBO handheld. They aren't licensed for a repeater on that frequency, just base/mobile.
If anyone's in the Danville area, could you check 158.805 to see if the signal's strong there.
