Picture of a VHF and UHF Motorola MotoTrbo stack. This is a mobile setup and is stacked near the transmission hump. A dual band antenna and connector box is used with these.

Anybody else use MotoTrbo in the Pacific Northwest?

I have a bcd996xt,how to I get it to monitor one mototrbo freq?

A base Uniden 996XT can't monitor MotoTrbo systems even if you put in the frequencies. Well, you will hear the digital droning that sounds like a diesel engine running, put it that way.

MotoTrbo radios stacked.

These are stacked in an Isuzu, and just mounted to the front of the seats. I just added two small pieces of aluminum to the brackets included.

I did remove the "Made in China" stickers from the microphone cables finally.

(One reason why my handheld is a Harris Unity, made in the U.S.A.)
