This site looks like it may be in jeopardy. Hope no public safety at this location.

Its mostly a TV and FM broadcast site with some LMR. The video shows just a tiny amount of the Mt Wilson complex which has about 30 TV stations and 20 FM stations on the mountain that is about 5,700ft tall. I have some repeater equipment at the site right now.

Well, someone lost a building with some equipment. I'm not sure who's building it was, but it was one of the two long buildings across the access road from the big towers. It's been burned to the ground. Lots of antenna on it...maybe MRA?

There might be but the noise floor is so high on that mountain its not the best choice for public service or any LMR/ham stuff. The nearby Mt Lukens or Mt Disappointment is a much better choice with no major TV/FM broadcast at those sites. There is a lower site on Mt Wilson called Mt Harvard at about 5,400ft that is somewhat out of the blast zone of the TV and FM broadcast crap and its mostly LMR and ham, could have some public service there.
