is it pro-96 hand-held

or pro 2096? I have a junked handheld, but since I recently moved-it may take some time to find it. Let me know, I'll look around. Have you tried other knobs? IIRC, they seem to have been fairly common.

Radio Shack?

Have you called your local Radio Shack? Your manual has a part number listed for those....

The bolts are M5 metric. Hardware for the PRO-2055 is probably the same and the mounting kit is available as part number 12429197 MOUNTING KIT $11.29. It includes washers, rubber feet and DIN keys. You can take a chance and order the PRO-2055 hardware or maybe someone who works for Radio Shack can post here if the kit is compatible.

No, your local RadioShack is not lost, they're being lazy and just don't want to take the time, or make the effort to help you. All RadioShack personnel are trained on how to look-up parts and order them. This is just another example of why they're slowing going out of business.

I was going to say, I think they are the same as CB threads. So you could stop ata flying J or someother truck stop/travel center and pick them up.
