Mounting Ideas?

I need to put a 6 foot j-pole up on the roof. I want to put in on the end of the eave. Only problem is, the shingles overlap the end. So I need to extend the antenna out a bit. Does anyone have any ideas?

Yes there is a solution to this problem. They are call wall mount brackets,and come in 6" and 12" lengths which accept up to 1 and a half inch mast pipe.
Almost everyplace has them, menards, lowes,farm & fleet.

Four bucks for a set of wall mount tv antenna brackets from Menards, i just used a set of them to put up tv antenna's on the house for backup when the cable goes down. Make sure you have good solid structure to go into though behind that trim board.
