They are filming a movie in Ocean Grove (Neptune Twp., Monmouth County) with Hillary Duff.

One of the frequencies they are using is 463.865 pl 110.0.

They have other channels, but I haven't found it yet.

I think you mean 463.8675 PL 110.0

463.865 is not on a valid channel boundary.

Search

If you found them there, I would now narrow my SEARCH down to:

460.7000 - 470.0000 at 12.5 Khz Splits.
Remember they can use the inputs on direct as well, that's why I would not SEARCH
using 460.7000 - 465.0000 Mhz Only.

In Boston we has Batchelor #2 being filmed and it was easy to catch them.

467.7500 D-023 Ch.1
467.7750 D-025 Ch.2
467.8000 D-026 Ch.3
467.8250 D-031 Ch.4
457.xxxx

They just used the BK/Micky D's channels and we up in DCS order.

but 463.865 IS what appeared on the scanner & it was loud & clear. I was searching 460-470mhz when I found it.

That does not mean that is the actual frequency of the transmission. The Close Call feature on some scanners, and frequency counters sometimes display a slightly off frequency hit if they do not have a stable signal lock or if they detect strong rf in the sidebands of a detected signal. You have to sometimes read between the lines so to speak. When you get to know what the valid channel boundaries are you will know how to gage an accurate hit.

I think 463.8675 is a valid freq not 463.86875
I think you're wrong and that 792 is correct. As Joseph11 first pointed out, the channel is 463.8625MHz and not .8675. Then add 6.25kHz and you get 463.86875MHz. Just because it is odd-looking doesn't mean it is incorrect -- with narrowbanding, we're getting much further to the right of that decimal than we used to care about.

But don't take my word for it, check Part 90 yourself [PDF]. (Hint: page 54 of the PDF.)

The narrowband channels are not yet being licensed (well, not around here anyway, I don't keep up on other regions), but they have been allocated by Part 90. See my prior citation. I read the issue at hand to be valid channels, not valid licenses.

The FCC may have already begun listing the new channels, but they are not
being assigned for atleast a few more years.
