464.2250 DCS 023
458.6625 DCS 074
451.1750 DCS 346
463.9625 DCS 503
457.8125 DCS 152
453.4500 DCS 343
462.3625 DCS 413

Can we expect to see you in the background shots hunting the frequencies? :)

On and off around Ottawa I've heard what sounds like movie shoots (none currently though), on UHF simplex frequencies, as with this case.

Once they referred to a "city-wide" channel which turned out to be UHF LTR trunking; useful when going off-site to pick up supplies, food, people etc.

Not sure the extent these operations have moved to digital technology, or just happy with their existing analog radios.

Experience here in the US has been they have maintained Analog
Movie Productions - Scan New England Wiki

but that could just be the Local shop who seems to handle most of the rentals

Most movie shoots rent or have their own radios. I usually do a search once a month on the LPU freq just to see what pops up. I have also noticed that a lot of things like concerts, fairs and movie shoots may be using the American dot freqs rather than Canadian freqs.

There's a shop locally here that rents out radios specifically for the movie industry - the frequencies they use are somewhat of concern as a few of them are within the amateur band (UHF). So don't discount searching there too!
