I have Proscan and, normally I would do it that way, but. For some reason Proscan is not cooperating, so. Is it possible to move things, directly on the scanner?
I know I should be able to 'drag n' drop'(I actually prefer that). I don't know why I keep having this particular problem, so. I thought I would try a different route this time.No. It's a very simple procedure to shuffle stuff around using ProScan, not sure why you're having trouble (aside from the fact that you always seem to constantly have trouble with something in ProScan).
If you are having problems with ProScan, try Sentinel. In the favorites list editor, click on the system. Highlight a department or departments and use the green arrows to move up and down.I have Proscan and, normally I would do it that way, but. For some reason Proscan is not cooperating, so. I think the problem is that ProScan won't allow organizing the departments and sites like this:I have Proscan and, normally I would do it that way, but. For some reason Proscan is not cooperating, so. Is it possible to move things, directly on the scanner?
I don't organize like first example. As for 1-3, yes.I think the problem is that ProScan won't allow organizing the departments and sites like this:
departmentsitedepartmentsite
They need to be organized like this
departmentdepartmentsitesite
Are you doing it like this?
1. Place the mouse cursor over the Department to be moved.
2. Hold down the left mouse button and move the department to the desired location within the set of departments.
3. Release the left mouse button
Excellent question. When you do step 2, are you seeing a yellow box that show the department name and "Move" like in this image

Just to confirm again, You're not releasing the left mouse button. Correct?
You had this very same issue before.Correct
Yes I have had this problem before, and the same computer. I am just going to do 'Copy n' Paste'.You had this very same issue before.
Are you using the same computer as before?
Can you test the left mouse hold down with a text doument or do a online serach for something like this "windows left mouse select text"
Select Any Text by Dragging the Cursor Over it
This is perhaps the most popular method for selecting text in Windows. You can select text with this method by holding the left mouse button and dragging the cursor over the content. It's a simple and flexible way to select text.
Another thing that you could try is:Yes I have had this problem before, and the same computer. I am just going to do 'Copy n' Paste'.
BTDTAnother thing that you could try is:
Select the department with your left mouse. Hold down the right button instead of the left button. Release when in the desired location.
That will copy the department to the new location. Delete the department copy from.
