moving to fargo in 2 years

im moving to fargo in a couple years. right now my city i live in is using conventional. now i know that fargo PD uses P25 i dont know much about it. what is the cheapest scanner i can get and use when i move there? thanks!

The cheapest would be one of the Radio Shack digital scanners. $399 I think. Most agencies are conventional digital here.
