We are relocating to the Percy Priest/ Hermitage area. From what I read Metro is all enc. Fire is moving if not all the way. What is still out there in VHF/UHF /800 P25 P I to listen to? Wilson County is not far and looks to be in the Clear...

Doesn't help.. I know how to use the database and have for years I am more looking at VHF/UHF/ 800 P25 P I that is actually in common use. I get that 90% or more of Metro Nashville Public safety is Encrypted.
Surely there are other things to listen to other than public safety, especially in a large metro area like Nashville. Aviation, Amateur radio, railroads. These are all in common use I'm sure...

Also check out the state system (TACN). It has 800 and VHF p25 systems. Tennessee Advanced Communications Network (TACN) Trunking System, Various, Multi-State - Scanner Frequencies
Most Vhf and Uhf channels have been moved to 800 mhz p25 systems. Also Lebanon, Sumner, and Rutherford Co have p25 talkgroups in the clear but are p25 phase 2.

Seems your out of luck. Maybe military aircraft or something?
You could listen to TACN, most of that is clear, the middle TN system is locking down
