sorry i cant help you but can you tell me if i get a new scanner will i be able to hear mpd again? i have an old uniden and can no longer hear the police.

i guess this is a new thread ..ok i had an old bearcat uniden. was able to listen to hopkins co ky . i think they have now gone digital. i want to know what kind of scanner to purchase to be able to hear them again. i did find them on broadcastify. they used to be under hopkins but our now under western post ksp post 2.

It appears that Hopkins County is migrating to a P25 Phase I trunked system. So it would take a digital scanner to receive them.

KSP is also using a digital system, but it is a conventional system. So whatever you get for Hopkins County could also receive KSP.
