Utica PD in Macomb County is using T/G 2881.

Monitored them off the Macomb Slimcast system tower. Very choppy comms here in Romeo....

I think 2881 is Fraser PD.

I have 2881 as Frazer as well. It sounds like they are simulcasted from their UHF stuff.

Could anyone here tell me whats trunk code #49792 & 48096 on the Downriver Mutual Aid systems for? (868.75000,7630). Have been hearing them for a few months now and have no clue? Only hear them during the weekday mornings & afternoons.

Those aren't part of MPSCS - you might try a different thread.

3831 is still listed a IONIA POLICE SOUTH but the designation is F911 (fire) -- anyone know for sure what it is?

Can anyone make sense out of talkgroup: 8190? I am hearing it off the Northville tower, and it sounds like some sort of data. Driving me crazy right now.

What about TG 12083, it keyed up on tower 701, with no audio, but there may have been audio, i cant recieve the tower that well anyway. But does anyone know who that may be?

I hear the same thing on TG: 12083, from tower 701. Maybe the radio techs are bringing a new dispatch center online?

Whoever it is just ID'd as unit 127 and was dispatched to assit a stranded motorist on I-94

Mike CP works off NEXTEL which is how they are dispatched by MSP.

MSP Dispatch is the only place/people that dispatch them from call to call.

Courtesy Patrol is overseen by MDOT/MSP but is a outside contractor out of New York state. It's been that way for a while. Now the CVS CP is different, no one knows who they are dispatched by or how they get called but I see them on I-696 from time to time.

The radios would be based out of Chippewa County. What were the last 4 like?

0000-2999 Are typically state agencies
3000-8999 Are typically County/local agencies
9000-9899 Are typically federal agencies
9900-9999 Are usually base station type radios.

Edit: Added comment, Even number IDs are usually hand held radios, odd numbered IDs are usually mobile..

LOL! Yeah, about something like that, since I was using Pro96com and didn't have another radio to listen to the audio.

As for the radio numbers (and thank you for the info on those!!!)

5142: 5173071, 5173069, 5173075, 5173079, etc.

5049: 5170157, 5170198, 5170204, 5170206, 5170210, etc

6220: 5170201

Stony Creek Metro Park Police

I've been hearing Stony Creek Police in Macomb County (Shelby/Washington/Oakland Township borders) On T/G 2876 talking back and forth among units and Station 10 (MCSD) notifing them of incidents in the park. I submitted to R&R data base and few days ago, but listing of it yet.

While on vacation I picked this up off the St Helen Tower. I believe it was a LEIN TG. I'm not sure for what county... was not too familiar with the area... Might be a new county on the system?

CP is dispatched by Station 20 MSP Dispatch and that TG you all say is CP isn't in the Dispatch console at all. Info is they will be on the system but they aren't as of yet and they don't have radios they only use nextels.

IT'S NOT COURTESY PATROL.

Unit numbers this morning on 12062 were 121, 126, 133 sure sound like them. I don't think they are the CVS trucks. As far as CVS not beloniging on the system since they are a private company there are several private companies on the system already. HVA is a private ambulance company, ITC is a private company that handles the power grid for a portion of the state, both have a few talk groups. I think the criteris has changed since the system was first devised.

5 digit talk groups are popping up now as well with I beleive 4 different ones reported so far.
