MPSCS/District 1

Hello All,

Quick question about a few of the District 1 talkgroups on the MPSCS system,

1040 410 D D1NORTH Central Region: Dispatch (Posts 11 & 12) Law Dispatch
1041 411 D D1SOUTH South Region: Dispatch (Posts 13 & 14) Law Dispatch

I don't seem to here any traffic on D1NORTH (1040).

when on D1SOUTH, they are dispatching all units (11,12,13,14).

Did they patch the talkgroups? of just eliminate one?

Yes the dispatch TG's of all MSP Districts (except 2) are patched together.

Ok, thank you, did they just disable the other one than? There is no traffic on it?

No your radio just receives one and not the other, but it's technically a simulcast.

It's already in the DB:

State Police District 1 - Central/South Region Talkgroups

Very often, talkgroups D1NORTH and D1SOUTH are now patched together.
