I tried that and got "no results found".
Are we sure they're talking about an MPSCS simulcast cell? The 6/25/21 minutes only referenced the VHF radio upgrade project, and nothing about 800 Mhz or MPSCS. Could they be building a VHF simulcast system?

There is not a lack of traffic on Northville, unless the site is down. I have not programmed the Pontiac site into anything, so I have no idea how much traffic is on that one.

Are you scanning a list of certain TG, or using a wildcard? Which TG are you interested in listening to?

I've got to believe I have something programmed wrong. I have gone from a lack of traffic, to absolutely nothing on MPSCS. I can hear analog channels just fine, but zero, nada, nothing, from MPSCS. I'm thinking I am going to start fresh and build a whole new scanlist from the ground up. The WS1065 has been a decent radio, and I can't justify dropping the huge coin required for the SDS200, or similar. I mainly want to listen to MSP, since I live in Oakland County and just about everyone around me is on OpenSky.

Try scanning the metro post TGs on the Holly site.

I believe there is some confusion here. The project listed below is a VHF Analog simulcast system, similar to other systems in Calhoun, Kalamazoo and Jackson county (before Jackson's 100% conversion to MPSCS)

To the best of my knowledge, Van Buren is not pursuing an MPSCS simulcast cell.

Confirmed. Commission approved upgrade of 4 towers and addition 3 towers to create 7-Site Simulcast Site. 6/25/21 Minutes.

Working with ROE-Comm

@drdispatch @dispatchgeek @Thunderbolt

After looking further I believe I was incorrect. In my mind I had linked the uptick of MPSCS activity in Berrien County with this announcement for Van Buren County.

With all the P25 simulcast cells popping up around Van Buren, it would be an easy mistake. Happens to the best of us.

Might need someone to confirm this, but I believe Kalkaska County has gone fully to the MPSCS. I can't hear any VHF traffic anymore and eDispatches is only showing their calls during the night, leading me to believe they're either only utilizing VHF at night or eDispatches is being stupid.

The MPSCS in conjunction with our vendor Motorola Solutions Inc will be adding channels to the below RF sites. This work will require a site outage which will disconnect all registered portable and mobile subscribers from the site. Surrounding RF sites will provide coverage for mobile subscribers while portable subscribers may experience limited coverage.

Traverse city is 100% on MPSCS, one backup channel remains repeated from one site.

Wexford, Leelanau, Benzie, Missaukee, Kalkaska, Antrim, and all of the CCE Departments do most or all of their dispatching on MPSCS for both PD and Fire. A few VHF patches or channels are still used in Antrim, Kalkaska, Missaukee, and Benzie.

Cool; less busy signals for those agencies.

Heard most of them on the VHF Channel as well, or as well as I can receive it from home. Sounds like they're patching the channel right now.
