Hearing a lot of talk on TG 5178 off the Indian River tower, site 4-050, they refer to dispatch as "Boyne", it sounds like a Consumers crew but I don't see that TG on consumers, any ideas?

Sorry if this is confusing but wanted to share in case it helps someone, I am a armature and still learning, Does a site have 2 numbers? as I said the Indian River site which says site 48 on RR is site 50 now, did they change it as they added the MPSCS to it? or does it have 2? I only want to point it out as I had a programming issue with a G4.When I receive on my Home patrol it says site 4-050, the G4 would not take a 3 digit for the site number and it would not pick up if I put in the 2 digit of 50, I had to make it a wild card and put FF in instead of the site number, maybe this is a everyday thing all you guys do, just was curious about the site number and wanted to share,, thanks for all the help from everyone so far, we dont have Pagers yet but we are 75% done with the the radios in Cheboygan County, almost there

Heard some traffic yesterday on 4546. It was patched with 5210 which is listed as Cheboygan (CCE) Fire Dispatch. St. Helen, Grayling, Waters, Lake City sites...
Got one hit with 4545 patched with 5206. 5206 is listed as Charlevoix County Fire. (Grayling) Sounded like someone blowing on a microphone.
4391 - Wexford County paging "station 1000".. probably fire but not totally sure. Manton site. They pronounce it "Station Ten-Hundred"
1300 - Called "wildlife" DNR traffic. Grayling/St. Helen sites.
11830 - MI National Guard, Camp Grayling.

5210 is 16F911 Cheboygan Fire Talk group, we got our new portables but not all the truck radios are in and we have no new pagers yet, we are using our portables but the old VHF system is still the main system until everything gets installed and there has been no mention of getting pagers yet, hopefully soon

I know this talk group says future but I cant find it on my Radio, Each dept. has a private "Proprietary" talk group and this number is similar so I am assuming this is one of the Depts. private talk group, its not a Tac channel

TG 64-Gratiot County Central (RID 9299985) checking if Sumner Rescue was clear.
TG 23102-ENC with RIDs that have also been noted on TG 23101.
Both talkgroups noted on the Mt. Pleasant tower.

Thanks on that 64, I also have heard it here, tuned in the calls from the database, its clearly Gratiot. It 'was' in the database for Lenawee, I moved it to Gratiot. Hopefully we can nail it down as to what it is completely.
Also keep an eye on TG 65 might be the same issue.

Are these still in use? Im on the edge for reception here for them.

It's likely that the VHF OPS channels are still in use. I've heard units mention switching to "OPS x" on the MPSCS dispatch channel.
I just heard Central talking to an Alma Fire unit on TG 64.

On the new tower map, 3 new towers are shown in the Clinton county area, 2 in Clinton county and 1 in southern Gratiot county.

HockeyRef2, Station 1000 is Harrietta Fire, located in the southern part of the county. Not sure why the Manton site would be carrying that, That is closer to Mesick and the M-55/M-37 one. If you send me a message I can provide as much Wexford info as I have, as I monitored that system 24/7 before it went to MPSCS.

Talkgroup 5008: Detective/TNT (traverse narcotics team) talk, Benzie County. Spotted by FrankfortStation4.

More unidentified from a while ago, northern Michigan hits around GT County
12929, listed activity from 6/10/2020
5891#, listed activity from 6/21/2020.
No known activity since then, maybe someone else has heard traffic from these.

Thanks for the info! I am pretty far away and I can only pick up manton once in awhile - I have a yagi I need to put on the roof once the weather improves. Manton seems to get Grand Traverse fire as well at times. I can usually get the Lake City site but it has much less traffic. I hear all sorts of far away stuff at times; especially on weekends in the summer.
